The Real Estate and Banking Practice Group of Krinzman, Huss & Lubetsky represents a wide variety of clients including commercial and consumer lending institutions, developers, corporations, landlords and tenants, non-profit organizations, investment banking firms, small business investment companies, syndicated partnerships and governmental agencies. This group is led by Richard N. Krinzman, who is Martindale-Hubbell "AV Peer Review Rated." Peter M. Brooke is "AV Peer Review Rated" by Martindale-Hubbell and is also a member of this group.
The group handles construction, commercial, leasehold and residential loans for lenders including agents for multi-lender groups, and borrowers. In addition to our practice in financing transactions, we represent clients with regard to project acquisition and development, leasehold financing, credit enhancement, leverage buyout transactions and workout transactions for lenders and borrowers.
In the real estate lending area, the practice group handles and documents construction, acquisition and development, conduit and other forms of bridge and permanent financing transactions. Other secured transactions have featured unusual collateral as well as the more common accounts receivable and inventory financing.
The group has extensive experience with commercial leases, having represented all forms of commercial landlords and tenants, and has been active in condominium conversions throughout the State of Florida.

Peter M. Brooke was born and educated in New York, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College in 1967 and his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1971. He also attended classes at the University of Vienna, Austria. Mr. Booke was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1971 and The Bar of the State of New York in 1972.
After moving to Miami with his family in 1971, Mr. Brooke became the Associate General Counsel of Mondex, a subsidiary of a publicly-traded company involved in interstate land sales. His duties ranged from general corporate legal responsibilities to handling state and federal lad registrations. In 1973, he entered private law practice with a firm representing large lending institutions, and eventually became an associate in the Miami office of a leading New York law firm, Finley Kumble, Wagner. In 1982, he became a founding partner in the boutique law firm of Goldberg Semet Lickstein in Coral Gables, Florida, which firm, after 17 years of existence, merged into the prominent state-wide firm of Fowler White Burnett. In 2005, Mr. Brooke left private Practice to become Vice-President and Senior Counsel of AVATAR, a publicly-traded community developer with projects located throughout Florida and Arizona. He is now affiliated counsel to the Firm Krinzman, Huss & Lubetsky.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Brooke has specialized and is board-certified in Real Property Law. His particular areas of expertise are state and federal land sales, condominium, and community associating regulations, the conceptual planning, document drafting, implementation and marketing of large scale condominium and community association projects, and the representation of lending institutions involved in real estate development. He has lectured at the University of Miami Institute on Condominium and Cluster Development, numerous National Land Council conferences, and most recently (in 2006), at the National Business Institute Seminar on Developing and Operating Planned Communities and Condominiums. He is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Florida and New York Bars, and the National Land Council, in which he is a past President and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
