Lee J. Osiason specializes in U.S. and international tax and estate planning for wealthy individuals including sophisticated tax and business planning for business enterprises, and probate and trust administration. Mr. Osiason has been Florida Bar Board Certified in Taxation since 1988. He received a Masters in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1982, a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida School of Law in 1980 and a B.A. from Tulane University in 1977. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He has served as an adjunct professor teaching partnership taxation at the Graduate Program in Estate Planning at the University of Miami School of Law, and is the Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar Tax Certification Committee. He is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of domestic and foreign estate and business tax planning and serves as an advisor to many prominent charitable organizations and financial institutions. He is currently a President and Director of the Osiason Educational Foundation, Inc. a Board Member of the GableStage theater, and a member of the University of Miami School of Education’s Visiting Committee. He has served as the President of the University of Miami Citizen's Advisory Board, a Trustee of the University of Miami, a Trustee of The Wellness Community-Greater Miami, a founding executive officer and Board Member of the B'nai B'rith Bench and Bar Unit; Chairman of the South Dade Council of B’nai B’rith Outstanding Citizens Award Luncheon (600 attendees), a Trustee of the College Assistance Program of Dade County, Inc., a Board Member of the Department of Community Participation of Dade County Schools, and a member of the School Management Board of Charles R. Drew Elementary School in Liberty City. He has received the Florida Commissioner of Education Business Recognition Award, Florida Association of School Administrators Emblem Award, and Dade County Exemplary Dade Partner Award.
